This is the semi-realistic style I'd like to see in a story or game!

По тем рисункам на доске можно перепутать тех, кто разыскивается, с теми, кто пропал

This is really good. I like the art and I wish I could play a mlp DnD RPG which improves my opinion of the art because just out of coincidence minus cutie mark it looks like you have one of my OCs in the back ground

I made absolutely random ponies on a back. So it's just a coincidence. =)

It actually was a crossover with Witcher. May be not the best crossover, because i have very small ammount of knowladge about the Witcher universe...

What she lacks to make this image complete is the witcher's medalion of the school she was raised in. Here it could actually be the Alicorn Amulet like image, only without the gem, and maybe some saddleback where she would keep her potions (standard for a witcher to take some before the fight, and some healing ones afterwards). I'm actually the same nationality as the author of the Witcher books, and I'm great fan of those and the games, so if I can help in any way, then don't be afraid to ask.

Still a very cool picture!

Initially I wanted the amulet (and couple trophy heads like in game). But the artist forgot it or decides to abandon it for composition porpose and I never asked because I liked the equipment but with all these straps and steel details it was unclear where it should be placed. In fact she carries staff for both witcher and his horse.

And don't forget about wings how they should lie on her body with saddlebags attached?

BTW such a long feminine hair is not good thing in fight and constant travelling life which witchers have. So military structures around the world don't tolerate them, soldiers must be shaved and short-haired. But the point was to make her beautiful not 100% realistic.

For the amulet, it could have been placed on Nyx's neck, and it could've hang right above that chest plate, or be directly on it.

For saddlebags, it wouldn't be too hard for her to carry around right behind her wings, directly over her flanks, like in the canon, the image of her Cutie Mark could be braided on it. And the saddlebags themselves wouldn't need to be that big to begin with, just enough to have some traveling necessities inside in one, elixirs in the other.

As for hair, they don't really matter. When braided they don't cause that much difficulty, unless the braid itself is very long. In the Witcher franchise there are actually no women becoming witchers, Ciri being the only exception, though only in name in her case. A witcher is a mutant, enduring harsh and even deadly experiments in their youth, to make them stronger, faster, deadlier than anything they would meet on a path. In Ciri's case, she was only trained by witchers, never being conducted to such experiments. And many witchers actually grew their hair out, though mostly because there weren't many people who would cut it for them.

Therefore, Nyx here is not only beautiful, but also about 85% realistic for this particular setting.

In reality typical payload of soldiers can reach up to 50 kg. You can feel it yourself just go one week trip without car. Food, water, spare clothes, hygienic staff, tableware, axe, tent, anything you need on your shoulders.

Speaking about witcher potions a batch of glass pots would be heavy enough load even without potions themself add some ingredients which may be hard to find, chemical equipment and we've no less than portaive chemical lab.

But why Nyx should carry everything with herself when she is in town?? Everything may be left in tavern. In "Wither's" realm practically every village has a tavern. With her ability to fly she can keep her staff in closed room somewhere in more or less serious town find a work in some village 50-100 km away fly back take everything she wants and start the mission.

And again we wanted noble alicorn not cargo mule covered in bags.

>A witcher is a mutant, enduring harsh and even deadly experiments in their youth, to make them stronger, faster, deadlier than anything they would meet on a path.

It's hard don't notice that during 200 hours of walkthrough even without reading the books. BTW I doubt that Nyx (and other immortal alicorns) can have a foal with regular pony as immortal creature she must have so much genetic difference that it makes her mutant too.
