grape

I love the lighting and colors in this painting. The color usage for the highlights and the bounce light inside the grapes really helps to bring this image to life. I also like the very subtle reflections in the surface under the grapes but I keep expecting to see some sort of vague bounce light off of the surface that the grapes are sitting on. There appears to be some vague textures in the reflection, some very minor highlights from the light source would bring out the surface and the shadows from the grapes.
Cleaning up the shapes a little more of the grapes and the stem would make them almost unrecognizable from a photograph.
