Melemele Island The Pokemon Center on Route 2, Alola, is a place of dark history. During the Unovan Wars it was a military outpost, complete with radar surveilance equipment, watch tower with rocket/Flying type defense systems and an underground bunker. A three meter tall concrete fence surrounds the place, but the massive steel gates were torn down to make it more inviting.
