Sleipnir by KingOvRats Sleipnir by KingOvRats
Odin's 8-legged horse. Spawned by Loki. I suppose some of you, my watchers are happy to see something of Norse mythology. Yes, more creatures will come.:)

I saw a nighmare-ish sketch of spleinir making him look like a cross between a spider and a draft horse. Also hello

At first, when you see this, you think "oh, a non terrifying beast for a change." But then you realize than its father was that sapient horse of a giant, while its mother is a male ice giant disguised as a mare. And then you realize that you're still drawing really, really weird things. I love it.

Thanks. I thought making it any weirder than it is would be unnecessary ;)

Yeeej! Nareszcie mitologia nordycka! :D

A Sleipnir świetny - szczególnie nogi, wyglądają trochę jakby były złączone parami (efekt mutacji genetycznej?

No to znajdź czas i rysuj, boś dawno nic nowego nie dodaŁ:P

P.S. I still find it weird that Loki, male Jotun-god, gave birth to this thing.

Maybe his reproductive system wasn't completely perfec and that's why sleipnir is an 8legged mutant.:P

Good idea. I just assumed it was because he was a Jotun.

Well I think that some other gods were born from relationships with Jotunn as well (mothers mostly) and they were quite normal.. so I suppose it was Loki's uniqueness.:P

Again, you're right.

I sincerely hope you draw Loki's other brood - the Midgard Serpent, Fenris, and Hel!
