Back home today after a wonderful convention. I’d like to write and tell you about it but I’m honestly struggling to think of a way to start it.
The convention itself ran really well, possibly the best it has. There were no delays to events, no technical issues, no problems to speak of at all. Which was very satisfying, as I think it’s safe to say that the work those of us on the committee put in through the year leading up had at times gotten incredibly frustrating. So it was very validating to see the end results go so swimmingly.

Yesterday I went and saw the new Godzilla movie. I'm just gonna start writing about it and see where it takes me, so expect
The first thing I want to do is make sure it's clear that I enjoyed this movie very much. However, there were certain things about it which niggled at the back of my mind and I couldn't immediately put my finger on, which is why I didn't do this write up immediately as soon as I got home. I have now had time to sort through my thoughts and I think I can convey them adequately, and I freely admit that much of what I bring up here may come across as a tad nitpicky, so cut me some slack there.

First of all, the competition is over and we're just waiting on results. Thanks to everyone who voted, come what may!
Second of all, an item of business; As many of you are no-doubt aware, I'm responsible for the production of Auto Assembly's annual fan comic for the convention. Right now, I could do with an inker for three pages. The only catch is that they need to be pretty swift, because the pencils haven't come in yet and we'd need it ready to go to colouring within a month. If anyone is interested, drop me a note and link me to some of your work and we'll sort something out.
