Favorites Don't Pay the Bills 🤬
I need to get something off my chest because I am completely sick of it.
I didn't pay out of pocket for a DeviantArt Core membership just to collect thousands of fucking favorites and zero sales. I am putting hours into creating this content, building these assets, and trying to build an actual hustle here—not running a free digital museum for people to stock up their private collections for $0.00.
Every single day I open my notifications, and what do I see? A massive wall of people adding my Premium Deviations to their "Favorites" or sorting them into their custom collections. If you like the work enough to save it, why the hell are you completely ignoring the buy button? A favorite is just passive engagement. It doesn’t pay for the software, it doesn’t pay for the Core membership, and it sure as hell doesn't support me as a creator.
