Looking at our shared heritage, I wanted to ask you a little something of our tradition. Have you ever played a game called hwathu?

Godori? I have the cards, never learned how to play that well. (Honest rather than deceptive answer). Hwatu would be the cards, Godori is the game if I'm not mistaken. You can get the cards for cheap.

I would much like to do so, but they are unfortunately banned in the homelands, though it was actually because a certain kind of flower is in the deck. I personally think that it would be a little easier if the flowers in question could be replaced with azaleas in this month's slot. I actually have considered art on such a card set of it including azaleas to replace the cherry blossoms (the workers' offending flower kind). I have heard before that cherry blossoms appear in our shared culture as well, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it.

I bought mine from a Korean market locally years ago. Amazon.com also has a set for about 5 dollars. If you're really dedicated, you'll go to Korea and ask around for Hwatu... They still play godori.
