A New Fishy Friend? : Gale
"Well, my little friend... You have proven yourself trustworthy!" Katap'ino sang, clapping her hands together under the water. Gale watched as the water rippled before laughing nervously in response.
"I'm.. I'm very glad I... I'm happy that you trust me now... I guess..." they mumbled, getting up to their feet. Katap'ino smiled at them before slowly lowering herself down into the water, disappearing under the small, rippling waves. Gale wondered briefly if everything was over. They wondered if they should be taking their leave. Katap'ino was taking a while, so Gale was about to assume that they should leave. They turned around and barely man

Gale took a seat, heaving a sigh of relief. The tour of the locations was finally over, and Nara had guided them back to a temporary office for the Heralds. As they briefly took a peek at the papers sitting on Nara's desk, they managed to see some completed forms that looked like they had been filled recently. It seemed that they will have to choose which location they would like to claim for their gardening endeavors.
"I am sorry for the wait, Gale." Nara apologized, returning with some cups of water. She offered one of them to Gale, who took it with a grateful nod.
"Now, let us get to business. You should be aware that you need to choose

Gale sat down on the ground quietly, trying to regain their composure as they watched Katap'ino pull down the box they had retrieved into the water. They weren't sure how long they were going to last with the Daimon's playful scaring, but they hoped that it would end soon enough. Their legs were getting tired from all their shaking so far.
"Well then, my dear... I merely have one last request for you..."
Gale froze when they heard the Daimon speak up with her hushed and beautiful tone once more. 'Not again!', they would think to themselves briefly. However, they did not dare say that out loud to Katap'ino herself.

As they continued to the third part of the tour, Gale noticed that their surroundings were actually becoming darker than before. The air was becoming thick with a strangely pungent scent, and it brought tears to their eyes, even more that they had before.
"W-Where are we going next again?" Gale asked, watching Nara as he walked.
"We will be heading to the Festering Mire next. It is the domain of the Daimon of the Festering Scourge." Nara's tone seemed much more serious than what it was in the previous two locations. It was unsettling to Gale, and it was starting to make them feel anxious.

"Alright then, I can fish in this grotto now... right?" Gale kept their gaze trained on Katap'ino as she lowered herself slightly. She flashed them a devilish grin, sending a shiver right up their spine. Gale heard a small collection of voices from one end of the grotto, sounding like a bunch of giggling, but Katap'ino quickly hushed them.
"Well... Before you do... I would like to request a little aid..." Gale took a sharp breath. This didn't sound good at all.
"O-Okay... Wh-What do you want me to do...?" they asked, voice low and apprehensive. Katap'ino's grin widened as she heard Gale's agreement.

"If you don't mind me asking... Where will we be heading next?" Gale asked Nara timidly as they went on their way from the land of the Daimon of the Untamed Wilds. Nara turned back to look at Gale, giving them a small smile.
"We will be visiting the Mystical Moor, the home of the Daimon of the Arcana Occulta." she answered. She continued and gave him a short explanation of the area, how the villagers feared the Daimon as they thought she was a witch and how the Daimon was actually friends with Brightbloom's Goddess.
"D-Didn't she try and explain herself or anything...?" Gale asked, almost absentmindedly.

Gale had to wonder to themselves how they happened to wander into such dangerous looking territory. It was just a regular looking Aethergate to them, yet beyond it was a grotto that contained a malicious aura. They couldn't figure out what was emanating the aura. At least, until they saw the water in the grotto shift and witness waves approaching their feet. Something seemed to emerge from the middle of the water. No, it was a person. A rather large and... hungry-looking Elder Daimon.
Gale swallowed, attempting to stand their ground. 'It's alright,' they thought to themselves, 'The Heralds wouldn't have left the Aethergate there if it was to

"Excuse me, are you Gale?" The Aetherling stiffened up before turning to see the person who was calling them. When their eyes landed on the pale-skinned Manu who was calling them, they quickly shrunk back in embarrassment.
"Y-Yes! I’m Gale!" they told the Manu, who was staring at them rather intently. She tilted her head slightly, before offering them a small smile.
"Duly noted. My name is Nara, and I will be giving you a small tour of the nearby lands. Are you free to do this today?" she asked calmly. Gale nodded back in response, keeping their head low. Nara doesn't seem to mind his timidness, turning around to lead the way.

The First Calling: Gale
Sounds and voices rang loud all around Gale as they trudged through the Crystal Bazaar, head hanging low as they stared down at the ground. They watched as their ever-flowing tears dropped onto the ground, leaving behind small wet patches upon the Bazaar's grounds. Every few seconds they glanced up, trying to be careful not to bump into anyone while they walked.
They were deep in their own thoughts, trying to wrap their head around the recurring dreams they've had for the past week. A single word echoed in their head, repeating itself again and again relentlessly until the mere thought of the word made it sound like a foreign concept. 'Heral
