Art Nouveau, Symbolism, Gothic subculture and fashion, Victoriana, comic books, Japanese Anime, tribalism, vintage pin-ups and burlesque are all influences in Kimberlee Traub’s pen & ink creations. Kimberlee has defined her black and white art as a unique Gothic style and is always seeking interesting illustration jobs to expand her skills and creativity. Exploring the spirit through imagination has become essential in the expressive lines of Kimberlee’s drawings. She resides in Philadelphia working on professional and personal interests with degrees in illustration and computer graphics. Kimberlee’s dark art has appeared in art shows from Pennsylvania and New Jersey to San Francisco and several Indie publications. Past lives include gallery assistant, body painter, production artist for a puppet performance artist, clothing company visual artist and creator for local Halloween attractions as actress, stage manager and crafter of haunted houses.
I am an artist for hire. Much of the art here is available as art prints upon request. Drawings are created with Rapidograph pen & ink pens with an occasional splash of water color unless otherwise indicated.
