What I mean is, I don't want to fill up my DA gallery with unfinished WIPs and unfinished sketchs, but would like to display them. I know Tumblr is popular, is that the best place to share WIPs? Is there any new social media that shares drawings and stuff I don't know of? Would you follow me if I posted my WIPs on a Tumblr or somewhere :P

Twitter and stories feature on Instagram (or just generally on your instagram account, I'm trying to stop saving only finished things to post or else I'd rarely post anywhere lol). Tumblr works too, but I haven't been getting much reaction to things on there lately? Instagram definitely has more viewers gained from people who don't follow you already.

I know Red uses both tumblr and instagram:

I've had almost no luck with non-DA sites. My advice, dump the WIPs in your scraps.

I was thinking of the scraps thing as well

The way I see it, if someone already follows you on DA, they may want to see your sub-par work. If they don't, they can unfollow your scraps. On Tumblr, or any other network for that matter, they don't have the option of unfollowing one thing. It's also harder to get a following in those places if you're posting stuff that isn't really good.

That's a good point. I'll probably start using scraps.

Probably.

I use Tumblr too, but I don't really post wips on it. Actually, I don't feel very comfortable with posting wips at all personally...it's probably the perfectionist in me. XD;

I think a lot of people use Instagram and Twitter besides Tumblr for WIPs. They're not the best platforms for showcasing galleries because of lack of organization and presentation, but they seem to work well enough for WIPs.

Yeah, I was thinking of Twitter, forgot about Instagram, I think Pintrest is used as well that way?

I haven't heard of many artists posting their art to Pinterest. I just knew of it as a place where people gather inspiration from different sites, so I'm not sure how well it would work for such a thing.
