Well, in no particular order: Zelda I: Locked in a cupboard until the end of game. Zelda II: Asleep until above, but at least she gives you a kiss. Link's Awakening: Lady not appearing in this game. Oracle of Ages/Seasons: Due to a lack of having played this, I have no earthly idea if she even appears. Link to the blissfully unaware of a timeline at this point: She finally gets to play a role, and a rather important one as well, but sadly she suffers the fate of the previous Zeldas. OOT: Ah, finally. Zelda finally breaks into a MAJOR role, and manages to avoid getting locked away until the final moments of the game. Overall, she has something that resembles a personality, but not in comparison into later incarnations. Majora: Sadly, we do not get to see more of a relationship between Young Link and Princess Zelda in a world without turmoil. Four Swords and related spinoffs: I haven't really played them and I'm fairly sure that the Princess retains her role as the one locked in the cupboard. Wind Waker: Tetra: Interesting and sassy. Zelda: Boring as an easy-bake oven and suffering the same pitfall as her previous role. Twilight Princess: If she hadn't appeared in major scenes, I would have forgotten that Ms. Bland was even in the game. Especially considering how incredible the OTHER princess is. Phantom Hourglass and Spirit tracks: Haven't played, sorry. Skyward Sword: A large step down from other princesses, being a mere animu generic girlfriend. I haven't played past the third dungeon due to how incredibly disappointing the game was, especially since it took inspiration from the two least Zeldas.
