I shoes you by Kim-SukLey I shoes you by Kim-SukLey
I was very sad today because I was working in a new Ravioli drawing that I really had grown fond of, and all of a sudden, the file was no longer in my laptop. I transferred some files from it to a USB and deleted some stuff, and I believe I deleted the SAI document by accident during all that racket.  I tried to recover it with many software, but it was not possible.
Thankfully, I've been working on some tutorials using that drawing, and have uploaded two videos on youtube, so my option is to use a frame from those videos as a reference to remake that drawing.

Of course, I was too upset to do that today when all of that happened, so I drew something else instead.
These are my OC Joshua (blue) and Dorian (red). They are both boys. Storywise, the shape of the heart represents Joshua, and starts represent Dorian. I wanted to draw shoes because I rarely pay attention to footwear, and on Dorian's "converse" you can see smudges, drawings and handwriting made by Joshua.

Also, many of you have known for the longest time that I'm asexual, but recently I've had a lot of time to think since I finished Uni, and I've come to realize that I'm also aromantic *shrugs* perhaps I will elaborate on that someday, but since I often find all of this issues of poor relevance, I'll just leave it here for the record.

Hi Shawn! Just let you know that my friend and a big fan of yours :iconllamaseatingpudding: has blue hair (on dark brown) for Joshua and her boyfriend :iconphoenixfortunes: has pink (and green) hair for Dorian. Hehe. I'll make sure to dye their kid's hair red and blue.

;-; Aw no I'm so sorry it got deleted. Its a really big motivation killer, I've been down that lane and really haven't we all though. I'm happy you have a reference though!! Also I think this is quite an interesting POV to choose.

Your sexuality is that irrelevant! Its always great when people find out more about themselves such as that.

Oh your the same as me. Aromatic asexual. And although I have a brief understanding of it, it would be nice to hear the whole enchilada

Not the ravioli drawing D:
Aw.... I hope you can fix the problem.
But anyway, still love the pic.

I love the picture, great anatomy and i love the shoes XD so fabulous

Perhaps the ravioli drawing was the one featured in your tutorial video? I'm so sorry to hear it's gone...

Aromantic, huh? Doesn't change anything, so yeah :D

Keep up the great work, darling. Time is rubbing off on me...XD

I love those converse. owo Also the blurr does a lot in this motive! :D

Oh god, I know that problem.... Dx
My pc makes gimp crash regularily,  ESPECIALLY during opening and saving files, thus deleting or corrupting them. :B
Which is why I always switch between one file and a backup when saving. uwu
Maybe that's a method that could help you too? I hope it doesn't happen to you as often as it does to me, but you can never be too safe considering that. ;D

I hope you'll have the nerve to get back to that RavioLi drawing though. uwu

Interesting to hear you consider yourself aromantic and asexual btw, especially since so many of your drawings show romantic or sexual motives. .w.
May I ask why that is if not personal interest in the topic? (if that question is too personal, feel free to ignore it)

(Argh, so much about your description of the pic and so little about the pic itself.... Dx Sorry.... orz)

It's the first time it ever happened, so it got me off guard, you could say. And I think I'll have to revise on my files (at least the ones I know I'm working on) It was pretty heart breaking considering Albi had a white dress and veil--- it was important! So yes, I think I will remake it once it doesn't feel like I'm doing the whole thing all over again.

And about the asexuality and aromanticism, I've known the first  for a veeery long time: I'm not interested in sexual interaction with anyone, it's just unappealing, and I even decided on being celibate for the same reason. The second  aspect is something that I've come to realize more recently. As you mentioned, considering what I like to draw, I believed myself homoromantic for a long period, however, now that my mind has been free from school 100%, I gave it some thought and realized the whole "cuddling" and "kissing" part is, too, uninteresting and bothersome just to think of. I questioned myself if I'd be interested in being with someone, and my answer was "no", I've come to terms with being a loner and enjoy it. If I ever engage with someone close in a loving relationship, it could be by mere logic (for example, someone who can aid me when I'm sick), but let's be honest, who'd want to be the person who is important only if I'm sick? In any case, I should get myself a nurse for that momentous service.
In the end, I guess many of the things I draw or write contain attitudes of such nature because  I don't live them, so they act like "fiction" in my parallel universe. Yet, what does stay is my whole caring, tolerance and acceptance life philosophy.

And don't worry, it's amazing to receive a meaningful comment :aww:

Omfg, Albi in a dress, I HAVE to see this. ;A;

Huh, it makes kind of sense, but being a cuddly person myself I can't help but think it's kinda sad (though it clearly is not, it's not as if you're unhappy with this lifestyle)... it's harder to understand your point on an emotional level than I expected. .-.
But thank you for the elaboration! :)

I was a little worried your selfdiscovery (in lack of a more fitting word, lol) would influence your art motive wise, which would have been a shame for me personally, since I love the intimitely warm pictures you upload. But I'm glad to hear that that's a component likely to stay. :D
