I started as a traditional artist. My colored pencils are, in my opinion, my forté.
However, I don't have the adequate conditions to work with traditional media. My family and I live in a small house with only one little room. It's all cluttered and messy. The space is just not fit for my other main media either: acrylic and watercolor.
Sometimes I just need to get my colored pencils and do some work with them because I love them, but I rarely finish my pieces in this form because I end up bumping onto things, and often I drop my prismacolor by accident. It's a bit stressful and inevitable, so I avoid all the hassle more than I should.
Dropping colored pencils may not sound so bad, but it's actually quite terrible. Prismacolors are expensive (at least to me), and if they fall, there's always a chance that the inside fractures, making them useless as the tip will come off every time they are sharpened.

Sometimes I just feel like giving up, guys, really. I have to keep the teachings of Buddha in mind and keep trying and see the good in everything, even if it's hard.

I love your colored pencil pieces, I think you do a fantastic job blending and making the colors pop; so beautiful. It sucks that you can't use traditional media as much as you would like, it looks like you flourish doing it...I wish you the best! (sorry for spamming you with comments and favorites.)

Awh;; I think you'd do great with watercolor. How often do you paint things, anyway?

 I understand the idea of prismas are expensive as hell, man i just got mine recently but as a gift from one of my friends who's a lot more financially stable than me. They're really soft in terms of inside and the 'lead' [not sure if its called lead], sadly. I don't use mine much either;;

Anyway, this is really great!!! I love how you draw Sky so much- I love how you colored in his hair and blue eyes-

I would just like to dedicate more time to my art, specially traditional. It's frustrating to have the drive in the wrong moment.

And thank you for the compliment :)

I hope you find a way to draw more, especially traditional. Your traditional art is my favorite stuff ;u; But all your stuff is good, so that isn't saying much.
