
My first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 80. A few upgrades later I was using a drawing program on a Tatung Einstein to doodle with 9 direction keys on the keyboard (didn't have a mouse)... once IBM compatible PC's came along I discovered the joys of doodling in more than 9 directions. The original Paint Shop Pro and Corel Draw were mainstays back then and I stubbornly held off from using Adobe Photoshop until I had no other choice...
1997 was the year I began learning how to build websites - and let me tell you, they were awful. Over time my skills improved; web technologies came and went (VRML) and then came back again. Before long I was scripting web applications in ASP and PHP and Javascript and AJAX and eventually people started to hire me to code their websites...
I moved from the UK to Australia in 2008 and married a wonderful, wonderful Aussie lady. Now I live in outback Australia and I'm trying to start a business doing all sorts of wonderful things with modern media.
