Devious Journal Entry
So I've been going over my old drawings and I noticed that they're kinda flat. So I decided to use construction in my drawings. I don't know how that didn't occur to me before. And another thing I decided to try a method I found in this video. I never thought this would help so much. I also thought about what makes a pen and a pencil different. Essentially you can make lighter strokes with a pen too so basically you can sketch using a pen too. I also noticed while using a fountain pen (I'm not very good at making fountain pens work properly) that if try to make quick strokes very small (if any) amounts of ink gets onto the paper so essentiall

So since I'm so slow at finishing my stuff I thought I could post sketches like the one below into my scraps folder (or I make a Sketches folder). What do you think?

Random short thoughts
I've been thinking. I heard many times that it's not the technical skill that makes an artist, but the things they express in their art. And yet since my teacher told me I wasn't good enough I only focused on skill. With mixed results. But no wonder I couldn't finish my drawings. I didn't feel anything other than this looks cool I wanna draw it and then abandoning it because I had nothing to connect me to the piece other than that. I decided that my art is there for me to do anything I want with it. I want to draw a study I draw one. I want to mope I mope on that piece of paper. I draw something because it's pretty I draw it. I might not uplo

The poem I quoted defined the fuchsia flowers as "Ballerinas dancing in the breeze"
