After dealing with art- and crafting-related stuff for most of my life I began moving from digital to traditional sculpting in 2005. Something about creating real, touchable things from a lump of clay started to fascinate me more than anything else. Digging deeper and gathering more experience with various materials it was getting clear that I got addicted to bringing new things to life that otherwise just existed on plain paper or floating around as a simple idea in someone’s head.
So it was just a natural progression to bring this former hobby to a more professional level and to actually offer my experience and services to others, thus Teptec Studios was born in 2007. Ever since the doors of TTS openend I’ve had the honor of working with some of the greatest private commissioners I could ever imagine, as well as Art Toy companies like Inner Sanctum LLC. and famous artists like Camilla d’Errico.
Aside from my personal projects that usually evolve around practical, useable art, and a general tendency towards Lovecraft and horror-related work I’m always looking forward to new challenges. Be it tedious wishes and materials, commercial prototyping for large runs, classical comic maquettes or a very specific image that appeared in someone’s dream – my credo is to spare no effort to make every single client happy.
