finally finished. he's a simple concept. nothing too hard, so dont give me a hard time about it not being impressive (to some other modelers out there). but its finished and im currently animating him, i dont know how to turn it into a flash animation so i cant post it on DA, but here's some more snapshots.

Just wondering, did you apply a meshsmooth on him? he looks a bit rough in places.

i only mesh smoothed the black on the arms and legs. i didnt like how it looked on alot of the metal and i didnt know how to change it.

Well, two things about meshsmooth: first you need to have only quads if you want it to look right, triangles and other iregularaties in your mesh will cause weird shit to appear. And for mechanical stuff where you don't want the hard edges to be smoothed out, what you do is set the smoothgroups of the faces properly before setting the meshsmooth, and then you check the "seperate by smoothing group" thingy in the meshsmooth options, it'll keep the hard edge then.

It's when you are in face sub-object mode, you can select faces, and assign them to a smoothgroup (it's lots of little boxes with numbers on them from 1 to 32).
