may i ask you what you do to give it that tone..i know you use photoshop, but is it like color balance or hue/saturation, or replace color or what...just curious..i love the tone of your pictures.

Stunning piece. Is that a photo-montage?

(I never quite get what specific techniques the "darkroom" category comprises. Is it anything that can be done in a darkroom?)

no photo montage
all what i do is contrast and color correction, so yes, this could be achieved in a trad darkroom, but it would be really hard, as digital processing offers easy ways to tweak the colors...

this isn't so much mystic as it is stagnant. it reminds me of a futuristic society that is based on perfection... but then again i don't know what your aim of all this was...

to be honest, i dont think too much before taking photos, i'm not the kind of guy who have an idea in mind, and think about it, think about it, and try to find the perfect place, the perfect weather, etc...
i like to walk, see something, take a photo, come back home, correct colors and contrast, to make the thing i've shot the way i wish it was when i saw it...then a concept can appear... sometimes the "work" end up with only an aesthetic valor, but sometimes i can attach feelings, and emotions.
i like your view of the perfect society. i like when people come and tell me what they see in my photos

not at all, and i agree about the overcomposition of photo's etc... it then looses it's organic process, and you'll get used to my idealised version of the world, it is what i choose to live in to avoid te rest of the crap
