Wildfire-Tama said the following:

It had been several weeks since the founding of Aryn, and Alcatraz was already settling in nicely. It felt so wonderful to have a family again, and being with his close friends all the time. But something was still concerning him. Last time he had seen Charaka her pelt was near flawless, but now a large scar spread across her creamy white chest. It seemed a strange wound that he could hardly even think of where she could have gotten it. Either way, he wanted to ask her what she had been up to since the last time they had met in the North.

He padded over to Charaka who he found in the clearing nearby. ”Hello, Char.” he said,”Would you like to take a walk through the territory? I’d like to hear about what you’ve been up to since we last parted ways.” Alcatraz said, his thick tail wagging slowly.

Kikkatar said the following:

Today was apparently the day of a full moon and Lady Athe told all of them to take the day off. She wouldn't take the whole day off, there were still borders to patrol and mouths to feed, but a small break couldn't hurt! Thankfully today was a sunny winter's day and Charaka was taking full advantage of this moment! By napping belly up in the clearing outside the main den! Smiling like an idiot she dozed half-asleep until Alcatraz's voice calling her. She was too content to move from her position, but she did at least open her eyes and wiggled around to face him, tail wagging madly.

"I guess I could spare you a minute of my time, Sir Alcatraz~!" she replied a sing-song voice, still teasing him over his quick ascension to gamma rank. Not that there was anything wrong with his rank, but any chance to tease him was a welcome one! However, she quickly rolled onto her feet and sprang up in front of him in excitement anyway, ignoring the small pain in her shoulder from where she was slashed. Sunning herself was fine and dandy; however, a walk was fine too! "So where are we going?"she asked cheerfully, already walking in a random direction.

----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:

Alcatraz flicked an ear, still uncomfortable with all these formalities. Especially from Charaka. But he had to admit ‘Sir Alcatraz’ sounded much better than ‘Traz’ to his ears, so the last thing he was going to do was complain. He had been happy to accept when Athena had offered him the position of Gamma after having witnessed his fighting prowess against the coywolf pack. Whether he had been happy or not,, however, he would have done anything that Athena asked. He was a bit smitten with her at the moment. He pushed the thoughts of the dark she-wolf out of his mind and stepped back to avoid Charaka as she sprang to her paws excitedly.

Alcatraz hurried after her as she bounded off, ”It doesn’t matter to me. I mean, you are heading toward Wispwood so I suppose we can take a look around there.”He said, falling into step beside the pale she-wolf. ”So how have you been, Charaka? I’ve hardly been able to ask you about your time since we last met by Kausen territory.” Alcatraz said.

----------
Kikkatar said the following:

Charaka slowed down a bit to extend the time it took to get to Wispwood. She didn't expect the destination to be so close but she guessed they could just keep on walking if Alcatraz wanted to. Their walk disturbed a small rabbit and Charaka dashed after it a short distance before bounding back to the big male's side.

Laughing from her brief exercise she started prattling. "It's been pretty good! I actually did very well for myself over winter. Sure I didn't gain as much fat reserves as I wanted but turns out I didn't need them. Didn't get sick or get into any major fights. Actually it was a kind of boring winter until I rejoined you guys. Oh! Did I ever tell you the details about how I met Athe? You see I had found a small bison herd and my pack always hunt bison during the first heavy snowfall. But I wasn't able to hunt one this winter... Or last winter....."

Scrunching up her face Charaka forced down the memory of herself on the run, hunting on the run, running from or fighting other wolves, never bothering to get close to anyone out of fear she would be killed, never stopping until it was time to sleep. Her foot pads were still scarred and thick skinned from her frantic long distance escape.

Putting a smile back on her face she continued her story. "But then Athe came and I said hello and we managed to kill this bull! Actually I met a lot of people after I left you. I went up north and found this pack called Havir. It's really cold up there but there's this thing called a beach and an ocean!!! I met one of Havir's healers and she told me a bunch of stuff about the beach! She's a really sweet girl although now she would be fully grown if she's still alive. There were rock spidery things called crabs that are really mean and a bunch of colorful fish and these rocks that look like flowers except they move and there was this thing called a sea sponge and it smells like salty wet wood but it's soft and when you squish it water pours out of it! I managed to find one to give to Gypsee later on but..."

Abruptly stopping her endless flow of words as well as her feet, Charaka suddenly looked concerned and said in a monotone, "I... haven't told you I found where most of my pack went did I." She took care to avoid his gaze and instead focused on a completely uninteresting spot of ground a few meters away from them.

----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:

Alcatraz padded at her side, watching as she dashed away after the rabbit and circle back toward him with a happy smile. Charaka always had so much energy. It always made the mood light, which was something Alcatraz enjoyed.

Alcatraz was silent, and he listened, as Charaka began her story. She began by talking about how well winter had gone for her, and that was something Alcatraz was happy to hear. He nodded, angling his ear toward her with interest as she mentioned the story of how she and Athena had met. There was a pause suddenly and after a moment Alcatraz glanced sideways at the pale she-wolf. Charaka seemed to have become distracted, her mind filled with another memory…. perhaps of the old pack she once used to hunt bison with? Alcatraz turned his head toward her, about to ask if she was okay, but before he had the chance she put her smile back on and continued. Alcatraz looked back forward, but noted the pause should Charaka act strangely again.

The remainder of his story was all sufficiently heartening. She had managed to kill the bison bull with Athena, which was a very impressive defeat for the two she-wolves in Alcatraz’s opinion. Alcatraz had never seen the beach or the ocean himself, but he had heard stories… it was just somewhere he had never gotten around to going to. In some ways he wished he could go and see it… but he knew that would never happen, not now that he was tied down to a pack. He would never want to leave them for such a long period of time. Charaka’s stories about it would have to do.

He glanced at her as she mentioned Gypsee. It had been a while since Alcatraz had seen the gray she-wolf. He knew that Charaka felt hurt by her friend leaving her after Morrow’s disbanding. Charaka was looking at the ground now, her happy attitude from before gone.”No… you haven’t told me,” he said quietly, an invitation to tell him or not.

----------
Kikkatar said the following:

She didn't answer for a long time. Busying herself scratching at the ground below her and scowling at the fact a certain alpha did her wrong, she tried to avoid the subject. Eventually the awkward silence grew bigger and bigger until Charaka broke it. "She's in Blutwald..." she said softly. "Gypsee, Caidan, Howl's sister Crash, Ronan, and Yona all went to join that bastard Stallion..." At the mention of Blutwald's alpha Charaka angrily stomped down on the scratched up earth before continuing. "Gypsee and Caidan's pups are probably adolescents by now. Crash's pups have probably been born too. I just... I just wish I was still with them. I miss them so much!"Charaka felt tears roll down her face and irritably wiped them away.

----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:

Alcatraz narrowed his eyes. Blutwald? He remembered the back as the back that had given him his shoulder wound. He had a low opinion about the pack, and the fact that Charaka’s old friends had found refuge there surprised him.

”Blutwald…” He echoed. Charaka clearly was very upset by this. Alcatraz did not know who Stallion was, but it sounded as if she felt betrayed by her former pack for having joined them, ”Why do you dislike Stallion…?” And why didn’t you go with them…? Of course he didn’t ask the latter question. Charaka was with Aryn now, and that is where she wanted to stay. But how she seemed to miss her old family…

----------
Kikkatar said the following:

"Stallion's a bastard scum of fish shit!" Charaka spat out angrily. "He stole them! The cowardly peckerhead told them lies to rope him into his pack! He was always brashly stalking around our borders and howling as if he owned Morrow! And then when Howl died everyone was so quick to disband and join him! If I ever so much as smell him again I'm ripping his legs and balls off!"

Riled up with hate and pain, every word was punctuated with a snarl or snap of her teeth. The idea that Stallion was out there and still an Alpha of all things made her legs itch and burn, screaming at her to move! To act! Irritably her fangs flashed downward to gnaw on her legs. It hurt but it wasn't enough to stop the inflamed ache. Alcatraz completely forgotten Charaka stormed forward, mindlessly marching in an attempt to wear down her own body.

----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:

Alcatraz listened to her, his amber eyes mild. He regretted asking her in a way, for she was still quite bitter, ”It sounds to me like it’s not Stallion… you feel hurt and betrayed that your friends left you.” Alcatraz dared to say. She was already stalking forward, angry and snarling. ”Charaka, wait.” Alcatraz bounded after her. This anger was unhealthy, but Alcatraz didn’t know if there was anything he could do. He wanted to try, though. She had helped him feel better once after a terrible turn of events in his own life.

----------
Kikkatar said the following:

The male's blunt words scraped against her already revved up nerves like rough sandstone. "Shut up!" she snapped and sped up into a fast trot. Every fiber of her being was pulled taut with the urge to fight! To rip something apart! It didn't matter what she destroyed to rid herself of this unbearable pain!

She did not want that something to be Alcatraz.

Hearing him follow her, she stopped abruptly and whirled around to face him. "Leave me alone!" she said in a half-snarl, half-plea. Struggling against her instinct she stood, shivering with barely leashed anger, before turning on her heels and breaking into a run.

----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:

Alcatraz skidded to a halt as she whirled around, his eyes blazing with a fury he had only seen once before, the day they had met. Boy had he pushed her buttons… but she was much more fearful now than she had been than. Alcatraz hadn’t care what happened to her back then, or how she felt. But he cared now. ”Char-” she cut him with with her demand, her voice sounding furious in yet desperate as well. It was clear he was making it worse. Alcatraz was often too blunt, and he silently cursed himself as she fled into the brush.

”Charaka, stop!” Alcatraz called, racing after her. But the creamy she-wolf was faster than him and he could not hope to catch up to her if she did not want to get caught,”Stop running, Charaka. Please, let’s just talk!” the dark male howled after her.

----------
Kikkatar said the following:

She did not stop. Alcatraz's voice faded behind her as she steadily lengthened the distance between them, but she still didn't stop running. She didn't want to hear it. It had to be his fault. It had to! It was Stallion's fault her friends left her! Because if it wasn't, then something must be wrong with her...

Sorry Tama... I couldn't think of anything funny to say in the this section and I've put off posting this long enough....

ANYWAY!!!

I'd like to point out that this is why Char is dating Alex instead of Traz. You never fight emotion with reason Traz! That NEVER works! *inwardly cries from experience dealing with people outside the science field*

Alcatraz belongs to :iconwildfire-tama:
Charaka belongs to :iconkikkatar:

You have to get creative when a majority of swear words involve religion or the supernatural and your character has zero idea those exsist.
