Wonder Woman

Sorry Jim Lee, you were a god in the 90s and you blessed the world with Wildstorm comics and America's Best Comics but you, dear sir are depressingly out of touch when it comes to female super heroine attire. This is how a warrior goddess posing as a super hero would dress...

Congratulations this is one of the rare wonder woman concepts with pants that feels like it could have evovled from ancient greek sensibilities, most of the time the pants come off to modern and kill any greek influence.

This looks great.

This is a wonderful redesign. Diana looks so beautiful like that.

I love you! Just today I was complaining about Wonder Woman's costume, how, despite the fact her backstory is Greek, her costume is SICKENLY American in style.

Now THIS. THIS is how a Greek Warrior Princess would dress!

Never been a fan of her, but THIS is how it should be!

more armor wouldn't hurt tho, especially for the chest.

I was thinking the same thing until your design reminded this: [link]

What happened to the Jim who designed THAT costume? That's 1000% percent better than biker Diana.

I've never seen that version of Wonder Woman, I see it had something to do with Stan Lee reinventing DC characters...bizarre. The look is also similar to John Cassaday's design for Planetary's pseudo-Wonder Woman stand-in.

I think gold and white on Diana seems like a good idea because of her heritage and her relation to Greek goddesses like Athena...just a shame the people at DC don't see it that way.

Jakita Wagner? I see that. Also, in a Planetary/ JLA meeting Ordway designed a white and gold costume for WW. White and gold makes so much MORE sense over the red, white and blue. She would likely have no attachment whatsoever to our patriotic colors.

That is pitch perfect for Wonder Woman. That design makes so much sense that it only makes me wish more that you were working at DC to fix WW's new duds.

Fave x1,000,000 This is a bilion times better than Jim Lee's tired 90's design

Please submit this to DC! I am on board to help getting them see it if there's any way. I wouldn't mind seeing this on her in a movie.

This is amazing!!! If she wore this I would LOVE it! i am a purist for the original costume but this has totally opened my mind to new ideas! You rock.

I actually like this a lot better than Lee's design, and I am fond of his. It isn't the patriotic look that you see associated with Wonder Woman, but it a delightful amazon feel to it. The white and gold are brilliant, and it looks like something someone could fight in!

My only problem is did you have to put a seam at her crotch? XD

Much improved!

I couldn't agree more XD I have to ask, though: is this in response to the traditional wonder woman costume or to her recent redesign?

Thanks guys. Oh, it's most definitely a response to her latest make-over disaster. ;)

I love this as a response to Wondie's recent wardrobe change, but I don't understand the hatred for Diana's original duds. I suppose it's what comes of DC's bone-headed refusal to acknowledge the character's World War II history.

I'm really liking this look. It would be more iconic than what Wonder Woman has now.
