Lakeview Debris by Kicks02 Lakeview Debris by Kicks02
After Hurricane Katrina...

A mounatain of debris greets visitors to Lakeview neighborhood at West End. As Lakeview streets were cleaned of trees, houses, and other debris a dump site was established at West End that was several stories high and about a half mile long. Household debris was on one end, and tress were on the other end. It was an amazing and heart-wrentching sight.

Thanks. There were so many unusual sights in the aftermath. I took over 5,000 photos in the year after the storm.
