For those of you asking about the alicorn immortality stuff, this is my headcanon:

Only "born" alicorns are immortal/age slower due to the fact that writers say that Twilight won't outlive her friends and the "Journal of the Two Sisters" says that Celestia and Luna just age slower than most ponies. So as a result, all ascended alicorns, such as Twilight, Cadence and Valiant will not outlive everyone else
