Commission information:
Terms:
Any request may be refused without explanation.
I do not draw sexual themes.
All correspondance will take place via email at khyaber@khyaber.art
Prices are in NZD and payment is done via Paypal only.
Advertised prices are the baseline. Complicated character designs as well as any elements requested that are not included in the commission parameters should be expected to increase the price . The final price will be quoted to be confirmed before the work begins.
The sketch proposal of a commission will be shown for approval before proceding to the next stage. Edits are welcome at this point. No additional WIPs (works in progress) will be shown unless it has been more than two months since this point. I may stream the progress of the work, but I will not likely accept additional feedback during that time.
Payment for an accepted request is required in full upon approval of the sketch. Work may not continue from that point until full payment is received. On occasion I may also ask for full payment up front, particularly for stickers and other smaller stylized projects.
Edits to the sketch are encouraged, though any deemed by the artist to compromise the aesthetic or expression may be refused.
Very small edits of the final product may be considered only for the sake of character accuracy. I reserve the right to refuse any requests for edits without explanation.
The final product may be watermarked and belongs to me to use at my discretion. Possible uses may include the selling of prints and merchandise. Reposting by the commissioner at a resolution up to 1280 x 1280 pixels is encouraged, but please include credit. Permission for higher resolution uploads will be considered upon request. Only commissioners and giftees may repost.
The final product may be uploaded by me to galleries before reception by the commissioner is confirmed. Uploading will be witheld only if the artwork is to be given as a surprise gift by a specified date.
The information on this page may change at any time.
Commission Process:
I will work on one or more sketches to present as proposals. I will get in contact with you for any feedback I might need.
Based on feedback, I will refine one sketch and show it to you so you can request any changes you might want. I will make those changes and show it once again.
Once you approve the final sketch I will send you an invoice (unless payment was required up front, in which case an invoice will be sent before work begins).
Once the invoice is paid I will continue on. No further edits will be considered during the rest or the work.
You'll be provided with a full resolution PNG when the work is complete.
Things to note:
My turnover times can vary significantly. Any estimates I give are just that. Life can get in the way and things get delayed sometimes.
I will likely work on other commissions while I'm working on yours. I might take on new projects as well.
Exchange rates and conversion fees may apply, but this has nothing to do with me (some people have chosen to complain to me about this in the past).
Works may or may not resemble past works, there are times where I will experiment to try to achieve a different artistic vision. Any examples given are guidelines and new projects might end up appearing different.
I will likely turn down characters that I personally find unpalatble. I would say if you know you have an out-there design just anticipate that could happen. (this includes characters with 4 or more eyes, for example)
Happy birthday! :D
Holy cow, man! You make some of THE BEST dragon art I've ever seen!
Your art is photo-realistic and absolutely superb, award-quality work. You are well worth a watch.
You've made so much more art since the last time I saw your gallery! It's such a joy to see it all. Dragons are the best.
Merry Christmas and happy summer solstice!
