Getting himself to the point in the game where he could actually engage with side-quests and non-tutorial exploration had been kind of...interesting. Raisa had spent far, far too long with the subclass choices, flipping back and forth between the various classes and giggling in that oh-so particular way of his as his in-game avatar went from lanky and thin of 'base form' to the reedy sorceror to the heckin chomk of the knight classes. Although Raisa hadn't really intended to play the newly released VN2 MMO Dream-Online he'd been lured by promises of a sensory experience unlike any other, as well as the ability to engage with some of his buddies without having to be near them to hear them complain about his habits. His worries settled, Erisol could finally allow himself to be immersed in Dream-Online, in playing his game. Where Dreamhome was quiet, Cloudhaven bustled. Like all of the major towns in Dream-Online, a player could teleport to and from each place with impunity so long as the requirements were met. This made things like grinding for levels and materials (crucial nearer the endgame, Erisol found) so much easier. It also made accessing the free-for-all forges and crafting stations more convenient, which was good because he could be pretty certain that some of his friends wouldn't have bothered otherwise. So too was the Inn, the Tavern, everything. No quests on the board - no quests in his quest log, not even the ones he'd already done! Two weeks of grinding levels for gear, stats, and job class points had been quite successful.
