Fauna of Pellucidar 2

Following my previous entry (khialat.deviantart.com/art/Fau…), here's more creatures for my version of Pellucidar!

- TANDORAZ - Elasmosaurs who move onto land (like seals) to lay their eggs
- AZDYRYTHS - Marine predators; descended from the giant ichthyosaur Cymbospondylus; known to snatch Mahars and thipdars from the sky, and are worshipped by tribes who live in fear of the flying reptiles
- SITHICS - Giant labyrinthodont amphibians; they live and behave much like crocodiles in Pellucidar's rivers
- DYALS - Flightless terror-birds that prey on orthopis, and are themselves hunted by jaloks

I confess that much imagery here was inspired by the Rite of Spring segment in Disney's Fantasia
