If AI developers can train on millions of human artworks without asking every artist for permission, then it's hard to argue that an AI-generated image should suddenly become untouchable. If humans are expected to accept "learning from existing works" as fair use or inspiration, then a human studying and redrawing an AI-generated image seems to follow the exact same principle.

So yes, if someone believes AI can legitimately learn from human art without explicit consent, it would be rather ironic to object when a human learns from or redraws AI-generated art without asking the AI developer first.
