Man, seriously, me and the internet have not been getting along lately. I just haven't felt like being on the computer for ages, I'm so sorry....I do try to do all the right things and then wind up putting my foot in my mouth because I just get lazy. I am happy I've done a little better then last year, but still not great.

Hopfully I'll have a few things finished to upload here soon, it's just hard getting back to my own stuff after a semester of life drawing *ugh*.

Seems kinda silly to annouce it just a day or so before the con, but it's been kinda iffy just knowing if the registration took this year. But found out last week, that yes, I got in and should have a table [I better have a table...or I'll cry].

..so I've been keeping myself very busy this last month or so trying to get everything done for a con I had no idea if I was going to or not...again, silly. But *phew* after this weekend I'm really, despertly going to try to catch up on things around here [and hopefully everywhere else.]

I don't mean to be such a space case.

Just thinking that thinking is a scary thing....no...I was thinking that it seems nobody does anything just for fun anymore. Well, that's not quite true, but some things that one does for fun can change into a real chore real quick. What got me on this train of thought is trying to just draw for myself...I've been drawing for other people so long I seem to have [at least temporarily] forgotten what I enjoy working on. At art school they try to put an emphasis on building on your skill set, but in the end you adapt your style or approach to the teacher's opinion because that tends to be what gets you the better grade. The alternative is to continuously fight for your view...which is an uphill battle and for me, it just seems like too much work for something you got into because you were having fun.

So all and all...I've been trying to draw stuff just for the hell of it and haven't really had any luck. And some of the things I have been dinking around with....lets just say it's some very weird and bizarre slash combinations that probably should never see the light of day.

Before I go, I did want to say thanks to whomever my mysterious benefactor is...I don't log in for a month or so and when I come back there's a subscription sitting here waiting for me. Very odd, but much appreciated.

I promised myself that when I came back, I'd have all the Kirbans and trades I owe, but sadly they're all about half done.

I really have no good explaination for 'disappearing' for about a year, other then between school and work I've had no time think, let alone draw. So...hopefully I'll be a little more active [at least not die as often] I still have a month and a half left of work, and school starts up again the 29th....But I'm really hoping I get more 'Me time' soonish.

Also, you guys are going to 'love' me...First off, this gallery of mine has gotten too serious, I'm starting to feel I HAVE to put completed masterpieces in here or else nobody will like me...so beware of cartoons and chibis because the seriousness needs to stop.
Second, I'm still going to be bombarding you with fanart...but it probably won't be from anime/manga anymore. I've gotten myself hooked on about 3 different Sci-Fi tv shows...Star Trek, StarGate and Farscape...so those are going to probably start invading soon.
Consider yourselves warned.

Other then that, HELLO!!! I think I'm back!!!

Back for about 2 seconds....

Right now I'm in need of some help. Does anybody know any good tutorials, books or how-tos for drawing sci fi backgrounds, equipment and the like? I'm finding I really bad at these and would really like some help.
