My poor worn out wooden screen has needed replacement for quite some time now. So I finally bit the bullet and upgraded. Last week I bought a sweet, 230 mesh, fantastically yellow, aluminum-frame screen from Blick art supply and it just came in today! Measuring in at 22x30 it's also a good bit larger than my old 16x20 wood speedball frame. I can't wait to print something magnificent with it! I feel so professional now with my new screen! Maybe just redneck pro, but that's close enough. Ordered two kinds of cheapo watercolor paper with it to try printing on, but Blick put them in the same box... with no labels... I've recently opened a shop on Etsy to sell several of my new screen-prints, and greeting cards. It's still a little rough, but I have my black and white kitty series and the Rawr letterpress poster up for sale.  It's been quite an adventure getting everything set up and ready to go! I retook some of those item pictures more times than I can count before finally getting some good shots, and the first pack of paper I bought is not what it claimed to be, too slickery and thin. Now it's all fixed though. Ready to roar and raring to go! There's more soon to come, it's all in the pipeline right now. Waiting on my new paper to arrive in the mail...
