If you find my art appealing and would like me to draw or paint something for you, here is some general information on my commission process.
What do I draw?
I will draw almost anything you like. I am most comfortable with drawing canids and humans/humanoids, however I can also draw any other animal or fictional creature. I do not have much practise with architecture, sci-fi or mechanical stuff, so I may refuse a commission requesting any of these themes for your own good. I'm a very open minded and tolerant person, so I won't draw anything that can be considered discriminating to some people or groups of people. I also won't draw explicit porn or hardcore gore.
About my process
When you commission me I will generally present you with one very rough, low resolution sketch of what you want me to draw, before you pay. I will change parts of the sketch if you’re not fully satisfied, but if you want me to make a completely new sketch I may charge extra, depending on the effort. So if you have something very specific in mind, please give me maximum detailed information of what you want, if you want to avoid this. When you are okay with the draft, I’ll charge the full price of the painting. I accept paypal and prefer bank transfer within the EU, but I do not take deviantArt-points.
After I received the money I’ll go on with completing the drawing: doing the lineart, colouring and refining. If the final image will be more complex or needs to be very specific I will provide you with more WiPs (Works in Progess) during the process. If you like you can also always request to see WiPs of less complex drawings like flat-coloured reference drawings, although I like to finish these in just one sitting. In the end you will get the final version via note first and I upload the drawing to dA when I know that you are satisfied with the result. If you wish I can also give you the .PSD-file.
How long will it take?
Depending on the complexitiy of a commission, the number of artworks you want me to do and the amount of other work I have to do, a commission may just take me a few days or even a few months. If you have a specific date or time-span in mind to which you need the finished drawing(s), please tell me beforehand.
Mailing of traditional artwork
If you ordered a traditional painting I will send to you the finished artwork via mail, of course. However, you will have to pay the additional shipping fees.
You are not allowed to re-sell the drawing(s) I made for you, unless we have made special arrangements. Copyright and related rights to the drawing(s) will always stay with me.
