Undertale - Best friend

I'm not gonna lie: I love Flowey. I mean sure, so many things about him freaked me out and I hated him for doing so many horrible things, but at the same time, once you dig deeper into who he is or how he came to be, you can't help but feel for the poor little monster. Even his "Kill or be killed" logic makes total sense. 

Anyway, after the Pacifist ending, it's clear that Flowey has given up his ways and even begs you to NOT reset the game after such a lovely ending or you'll erase all the happiness and freedom everyone has at that point. But what about Flowey's happiness?

Frisk takes Flowey in a flower pot and brings him with her to the surface with her friends and family. Flowey feels that he's caused so much trouble to Frisk that he doesn't deserve to be a part of this happy ending. Even after Frisk spared him after his Omega form battle, he still didn't grasp why he was given mercy. He doesn't feel love. He might never feel love.

But Frisk is determined still. She will never give up on Flowey. After all, she never gave up on a friend.
