Do you know of any really good tutorials for putting together journal skins from scratch? I'd like to make one for myself when I get a Premium, a set width and length with scrollboxes and all, but I'm not sure how ^^;

I'm afraid not, but if you search "journal skin tutorial" I'm sure there are some good ones! I've known how to code for about seven years so I already knew the basics. The site W3Schools is a great place to learn the basic elements that make up layouts! c:

It can be a good idea, when you get Premium, to first install a basic layout and then just mess around with the code to see what does what. When you're familiar with the coding involved, you can get rid of that one and start from scratch with your very own!

You need to follow the instructions in the description - I made them long before dA introduced the "Install" feature, and it's impossible to upgrade my layouts to the new type without completely re-uploading everything. The old method takes a few more minutes, but it still works absolutely fine. c:

I figured it out, and used it for two journal entries before the "Free Premium Memebership Day" was over. It was wonderful to use it.
If I get a premium membership, this is the only skin I would ever use.

It really means a lot that you'd choose it, thank you! I hope you can get Premium sometime soon ♥

You're welcome, love.
No, I don't think I'm going to get a premium member ship in a month of Sundays.

Excuse me, but how did you get the pink lettering for the fonts on your comment section?

In the CSS box for your gallery folder (hit Folder Options, then the CSS tab), paste this code:

b {color: #fd86a5;}

You can change the colour code to anything you like - just search Google for "hex colour chart" for all the codes! c:
Hope that was useful. <3

Hello! I love your CSS':love:! They are very pretty and well made! I was wondering, are you currently taking requests/commissions? If so, will you do me a CSS/how much does a commission cost and how can I pay it (PayPal/Points...?)?

Hello! I'm very happy you like my CSS, but I'm afraid I don't take requests or commissions at the moment. I'm in University and have very limited time! Sorry about that. c:

Oh, okay :). I understand, don't worry. But can you tell me when your commissions/requests open?

I don't think they will - I'm in Uni for four years, and it's very hectic - as you can tell I haven't even been able to upload any artwork recently! Maybe over the Summer I will have some time. c:

As much as I wish to use these skins, I'm afraid I can not, even though I am currently a Premium.

I don't see a "Instal Skin" button, and that's the only way I can use skins.

It's not the only way! If you read the instructions and download the package, you'll see that you can easily copy-and-paste the coding using the "options" tab on your Journal. I created these Journal Skins before dA brought in the new system, and it's very very difficult to convert my current skins into the new format (the process is ridiculously complicated). This is just the old way of doing things, and it does still work! c:

I have read the instructions but I do not think I am allowed to download the code on the computer I am using now. I hope to download the code on another comp and hope it works. If it does not I shall inform you then.
