Understand Your Camera Stamp by Kezzi-Rose Understand Your Camera Stamp by Kezzi-Rose
I've recently learned how to make the most of my camera's manual mode, and so far it's been unbelievably rewarding! It's all very well shooting in automatic mode, and for the most part this does produce good pictures; but it's also so important to know how to set everything up yourself to get the best shots. ♥

So whether you use a point-and-shoot, SLR, DSLR or older film camera - spend the time really getting to know your equipment so that you can attain the best results. It's really worth it!

Learn how to make the most of your DSLR with the Digital Photography School.

Add it to your page! Just copy the Thumb Code (found under 'Details' down the right-hand side) and paste it into your Journal, ID Description, Custom Module, etc. You don't have to be subscribed. Thanks to everyone who shares it! :la:

:whisper: Psst.. remember to check out the rest of my stamp collection; there's guaranteed to be more you like!

Used! I understand my Kodak camera perfectly well, but there is still one thing I can't figure out. Even though my camera focuses very well (it has 14 megapixels), usually whenever I snap a photo, it focuses on the wrong thing or becomes blurry!

For a second I though that said 'I support TALKING TO YOUR CAMERA'. :?

Not that talking to inanimate objects is a bad thing!

I also recently did the same thing and now my photos are 10 times better in my opinion. The colors have become so much warmer, which I prefer, and just seem to have a glowy effect. It truly is worth reading up on your camera and the wonderful, limitless possibilities it may provide.

That's very true. I recently broke my camera (oops!) and now I have to save up to get a new one because it is just beyond repair... I finally get to have an excuse to get a better camera, though, so that's good. :rose:

I honestly won't start taking pictures on a camera until I have the modes mostly figured out

What a coincidence, I was just playing around with my own manual mode this weekend! It does indeed help improve a lot in my shots. I'm glad I took the time. ♥
