Basic Plush Toy Tutorial by KeyshaKitty Basic Plush Toy Tutorial by KeyshaKitty
I've had several people ask how I make the little, 'flat' felt plush toys I upload every now and again, so here's a tutorial explaining the basics.

These plush toys are very fun and easy to make - as well as cheap. So if you're new to plush toys, these might be a good start if you want to work your way up. I hope the tutorial is at least easy enough to follow.

Here's finished versions of plush toys I've made using these steps:

Do you have any suggestions of fabrics I could use for plushies that aren't strictly for display?

do you think i can just sew the hair on the head? cuz i have no idea how to use a hot glue gun and my parents would kill me if i would '^^

There's absolutely no reason why you can't. :) I just use the glue gun because it means it can all fix on/sit in the place I want it to without the stitches showing.

Acrylic and fabric paints. Frabric paints can be washed, not sure about acrylic (you don't want to wash felt plushies anyway).
