AI in it's current form, especially where Stable Diffusion and Midjourney are concerned. Is UNETHICAL. Their datasets are created by scraping our artworks, photos, private medical records, and more unsavoury images to create the images they generate. Without our Artwork and unwillingly taken property. These AI systems would not exist in their current form.
DeviantART knows this. And has willingly opened the floodgates. AI generated images dominate and flood the front page. Many of which are not tagged correctly, and nothing is being done to enforce this. They now also sell their own version of Stable Diffusion (DreamUP), and as such are endorsing, and profiting off these unethical systems.
If you care, repost this image, and fave this post and others you see. Show DeviantART that this is not what a artists site should be about. Real artists made this site what it is today. Not AI generators. Lets make a stand!
