The Worlds most overrated guitar ever! Got the big 70ish head i see!
Na try them al. The only good thing with fender is the necks, Canīt do anything with rest. Man its made peace of cheep wood from mexico. The hole construction is like an old T-ford, and people are so dum, they are paying through the " noose " just for the brand Fender. when one can get a much better guitar for half the price.. Man just think what one can do with a standerd Ibanze or jackson vs a fender. And even the chines copys are getteing better and better.. " Sorry about the rant but I just hate Fender " nothing personliy "
I Have mett people that are so brain wash that its scary they just thing that the must be good " LIKE ALWAYS " just because Fender have aded the " orignale or Delux " or made in US/ or US custom., the same guitar is made in the Mexico, same wood, same spec, pickups etc etc. But with a USA sticker that say made in the USA you have to through upp a heap of more money, and people buy it!
GIve me a epiphone nigthhawk 93 or a jackson with a floyrose any day.
When I say that I would like to own a good Strat, I am referring to one from my generation and earlier. If you had ever saw the abuse SRV and Hendrix, for example, put their main stage Strats through and yet those instruments kept on keeping on, you have a better appreciation for their instruments from an era now long past. Today's Fenders are not the tough guys their marked by their predecessors.
Nighthawks are nice or at least the ones I played were good instruments. Haven't played any Jacksons in years and when I did check one out, it was a Randy Rhoads V; pretty good as I remember. You may like to consider the Adrian Smith San Dimas model Jackson makes from what I gather from your correspondences.
If you have not already done so, develop a good rapport with a nearby guitar shop and learn what you can there. And whenever possible, inquire of working guitarists on their favorites and what they like about their favorite instruments and gear. That is age old advice that is applicable to any industry.
Good luck in finding your perfect match in guitars. And take the time to enjoy the ones you get to try out along the way.
You cant do so much with a fender, every famous guitar player, almost never use a fender and if they do they remake them. Eddie Van halen, the only fender thats left is Peaces of the boddy. Malmsten have his magick thanks to his neck and the micks, have never seen Steve vai use one. etc. And thats the thing, a strat works fore playing bluse and dull rock. Thats it. Thats why I dislike fender, it cant bring so much to the table. A Les paul, made in the same Era is far more better and you can play anything from Jazz to Heavymetall with it. Thats why every guitar are almost an copy of a les paul with two humbuckers.
I have a friend that love strat but he like britt popp/ rock from the 70 / 80 ish. Cant stand the Music, its dull and strattish
Jackson: No I havea White Dinky, the V guitar is nice but hoples to have in your knee. I Went for the Jackson thanks to the Quality they have in every price range. And the neck fitts me perfect.
