It takes great courage to tell your darkest shadow, "I'm sorry."



Sorry for what? For suppressing it, hiding it, running away from it. To think you can live in the light, only to watch your skin burn.



That is how those lost in the dark go back into the light, and they bask in it unscathed. Because that warmth was restored again through one's own shadow.
