THE BOUNDARY STONE by kevissimo THE BOUNDARY STONE by kevissimo
"There are those who move boundary stones
    they pasture flocks they have stolen."

When I got the email from Teri saying she was in town and wanted to shoot, the answer was naturally Yes...

She is an incredible actress, having appeared on The Walking Dead, but I had no idea what we would be shooting. But I had been pondering this notion of "leaders who move boundary stores." Historically this was tied to issues of injustice, corruption and thievery.

So I thought why not do an image...of putting it back?

I always take time to study each piece and read all of the description. There's so much interesting detail in both!

Thanks, man! Yeah it's been crazy busy with a huge amount of commitments over the past year.
And also I was waiting for some new inspiration. These things come in seasons....

Indeed! I've found that after the "quite" between inspiration there is a time of subtle growth and the new pieces out of that are pretty special and different/better.

With your description, Isaiah 58 came to mind.

“If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
    with the pointing finger and malicious talk,
and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
    and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
    and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
    he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
    and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
    like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
    Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

That is one of my favorite passages....

I spoke it at Burning Man and it's been spoken over me a number of times
Thank you, brother. Yes, that is very fitting...
