New Haven - Prologue
It is shortly after mid-day, with the weather being mild and rather comfortable. There is a valley covered in wide open field, with a small stream running through it all, and little clumps of trees on both sides of the valley. Quite the picturesque spot, one of peace and solitude; all that can be heard is the low rush of wind over the tall grass, and birds with their various churps and songs. Though not all is calm, easy, or peaceful.

Let There Be Peace
Let all warfare cease,
Let the guns fall silent,
War planes make their final desent,
Let there be peace,
Let the soldiers return home,
Never again to go and roam,
Let it all be done please,
No more to battle,
No more to squabble,
Let there be peace,
No more to have young men dead,
To have a grave be their bed,
Let war be pronounced forever deceased,
Have it never again to be seen,
Have it gone by all possible means,
For god's sake, let there be peace.

The night is relatively quiet, save for the song of crickets and the low russle of wind through the trees. Moon light peers through the tree top canopy giving soft illumination to the forest floor below.
Amongst the shifting shadows a rifle barrel comes out from behind a tree. Slowly the man holding it comes out from behind the tree too. He is a dark shadowy figure taking careful steps as he walks with his rifle at the ready. He does not make a sound, save for the sound of leaves crunching beneath his feet. His head moves from side to side slowly as he scans the area around him.
A twig snaps, he wheels around pointing his rifle into the dar

Well to be more precise I get on a bus on September 3rd and arrive on the 4th, but still four weeks from now :I
As some of you know I had enlisted in the United States army and like the title says I've only got a month left before I leave for basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia. From there, after 9 weeks of training, I go to Fort Sill, Oklahoma, for another 22 weeks of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and from there I don't know yet.
