Happy 80th anniversary Thomas Friends

Today is the 80th anniversary of Thomas the tank engine and to his friends. I’m so happy that Thomas is still going, even though the show isn’t going as it use to be. But I’m happy that the fans will honor the original Thomas and friends show back then, from story books to VHS tapes, to DVD to on demand. However people remember the original show, they will always cherish these stories within their own hearts. And remember why Wilbert wrote them in the first place, for his sick son’s amusement. He wanted the engines to act like engines, to remember what they learned from before and to stay on the island. So with that said I would like to say thank you, Wilbert Awdry for creating this story for us to enjoy.
