Description
The big news from this past year was that I got married to my longtime convention sidekick, best bro, roommate, and eventually the love of my life, Sammi. The whole affair was 80s/90s pop culture themed so I produced a bunch of new art for the occasion.
A local used game store donated a bunch of broken controllers & cartridges that I repurposed into wedding centerpieces and made custom art for the labels. Double Dragon was actually a big part of our relationship so it was very prominent at the wedding. This is the gold version we had at our couple's table and now display in our dining room trophy case.
Such a rad idea. I wish i had been a bit more creative with our wedding but with the moving overseas and having 6 months to slam it together I'm glad it wasn't a total wreck. This is just too cool!
