I finished my Ryuichi cosplay in time for Pokettokon. Only Pokettokon was cancelled four days before the event.... Fortunately, we were able to turn the weekend around so it wasn't a waste. Saturday we went to Chicago and explored the Field Museum. Sunday we went and checked out Anime Zap, a convention put together in 72 hours in place of Pokettokon. It was impressive for the amount of time they had. We got a great photoshoot out of it too. Sadly, my Ryuichi wig did not make it in time though it's been more than a month since I ordered it. First, I have a new, smexy journal skin :3 If you haven't seen Ninja Assassin, you really need to. Rain is absolutely GORGEOUS *nosebleed* Wasn't too happy with actress chosen for the leading female role...I think it would have made the romance plot more understandable if she had been asian and resembling the girl from Raizo's past, but whatever. The movie more than made up for that drawback :D The next convention coming up for me is Pokettokon. The con is held on January 16-17 at ICC in Peoria, IL.
