almost 6 months of practice. lets see what years of practice will bring. hmm i have actually question for you, maybe you know better about this, i got two good quality papers what are thick, one is canson , when i started coloring it looks bad. like "film grain" its not smooth and clean looking, is it me? or is it technique or something else why it looks like **** ? any ideas?

I see. I doubt that the way you color is a problem here
I'd rather blame the paper here.
The problem probably is a big porosity/wrong texture of the paper.
Next time you should look for a paper that is more smooth and without a lot of pores

thank you once again! yeah, because when i draw on canon printer paper, its much smoother and better looking in my opinion. so i was thinking these pencils are not made for that thick paper or something. you have been big help. thanks once again :) you're awesome

No problem, glad I could help somehow :)
I think it's definately the paper - very often, a printer paper is horrible to draw at :(

thats the thing what i dont understand, when i use this printer paper what is thin, in my opinion i draw better and my coloring looks better compared to thick paper. maybe its only matter of practice. havent tried thick papers before and there is big difference atleast i have that feeling. maybe someday i know how to draw/color better! :D haha :)

On the other hand, if you feel that you draw better on a thin paper, you should continue doing this. You can always try switching to a thicker paper later. It all depends on one's way of drawing.

For example, while drawing, I always sketch thousands of unnecessary lines and this is why I use thick paper (250g/m2). Otherwise, my paper sheet would be all tossed and look like a total mess :D

lol Dani. I'm not a fan of Cradle of Filth as a band but this portrait is really nice!
