What, a new journal? It's only been a year!
So I'm thinking about using the spring craft fair at my workplace as an excuse to make up some prints and try my hand at selling. It was one of my new year's resolutions LAST year but I never got far with it. The table itself is cheap, and if I don't sell the prints there I could still toss them on etsy or something or use them as gifts if all else fails.
But what to print?? What sizes? Old stuff will have to stay under 5x7 I think. For those, would I be better off going with greeting cards or postcards instead of prints? Maybe some bigger prints I could mat just for showing off on the ta
Everytime I submit something I get the standard offer to make a print of it. I've never done it, because I purposefully upload web versions of the photos. Thus the only print they offer is the 4x6, and I could do those here at the grocery store.
But I actually have a camera capable of printing to those larger sizes now, IF I wanted to. Just not sure there's much point, or if it would be worth it.
First, I get an average of a whopping 2 favs per pic, so the odds of getting a purchase are slim. I'm just not to that point yet I think.
Second, I'd have to upload the big files which I've always avoided, for both ease of loading for some
A very short one granted, but I'm determined to have fun. ^_^
Going through my old stuff the other day really got me in the mood to go North, so that's where I'm headed. I don't have to work until Tuesday and I have a small amount of money saved, and I'm BADLY in need of a mental health break and some solitude. BADLY.
I should get my butt in gear so I can take the scenic route up the lake shore and still get into the UP tonight. :D I have a date with the sunrise at Seney. *L*
