The Mystery of Miss Calamity's absence

This was something that kinda weirded me out. During that interview Percyfan did with director Mark Risley, one of the questions was why Miss Calamity was cut from the cast. Mark gave out an unusual answer; which was that Chorion disliked her. He gave no further explanations. By the way he said it, it sounded like he was having a rough time as if something went down.

I’m surprised no one asked why Chorion hated the character specifically. There wasn’t anything wrong with her from what I can tell. Everyone but me accepted Mark’s brief answer.

And now that Sanrio has bought the rights to the franchise, it’s likely that Miss Calamity, Mr. Stubborn, Miss Daredevil and other MMS exclusive characters now belong to them. Hopefully they can shine some light on them too.
