DBX: Rosalina vs Rootmars

NO RULES, JUST BLOODSHED! AND ALIENS!

Rosalina was having a peaceful day in her observatory when suddenly she received a distress call from Earth.

”What is it this time?” thought the princess. Was it Bowser? Normally he didn’t do anything more evil than kidnap a princess but there had been times where he decided to do something more creative.

She thought he was celebrating his victory over some sort of icy monarch. She didn’t know the full details.

However, it turned out that it wasn’t the Koopa Troop this time.

Unfortunately, it seemed that Earth was being attacked by Mars invaders. It looked as if they wanted their planet.

They were described as resembling squids. However, instead of squirting ink, they had laser guns.

They also had a ridiculously huge mothership. And they had mechs that had a singular eye.

There were also machines that for some strange reason were being piloted by organic brains.

And unfortunately, the Regular Army were battling the Rebel Army at the moment. Once again General Morden was trying to take over the world. What crazy scheme did he have this time?

“How many times are Martians going to attack Earth?” asked one of the Lumas. Perhaps Mars was named after a god of war for a reason. He was starting to feel like he was in a sci-fi movie.

Rosalina shrugged. For some strange reason they never seemed to bother other planets. It was just Earth.

Was that planet really that valuable for planet conquerors? Admittedly, it did have a lot of water. There were bigger planets up for grabs though.

It looked as if it was the War Of the Worlds. H.G. Wells had predicted the future.

Well, she wasn’t going to let the Martians win the war.

She decided she would take on the Martians herself...along with her Lumas.

She arrived on Earth shortly.

Sure enough, the Martians were attacking a city.

“Help!!!” screamed a civilian.

Rosalina launched Star Bits at the Martians.

This seemed to be effective. Strangely enough it seemed that while the Martians resembled octopi, they actually had bones.

Some of the Martians did have UFOs, but it wasn’t hard for Rosalina to shoot them down.

Fortunately, it seemed that they had the upper hand.

Some of the Martians had built war machines (as the reports had said), but they could handle them. 

However, at that very moment, their leader showed up.

The Martians began to cheer.

Likewise, the Lumas seemed to be rather frightened.

Apparently, he had decided to confront Rosalina himself.

It would be best if they dealt with this sort of threat quickly.

To be honest, Rosalina just might be more of a threat than the Regular Army.

Maybe not as threatening as the Venusians that feasted on the Martians though.

”That’s the biggest Martian I’ve ever seen...” noted Rosalina. Was it really possible for Martians to grow that big? Most of the Martians seemed smaller than humans. But not this one, oh no.

One of the Lumas nodded. The mothership must be awfully huge if it could support a Martian the size of Rootmars.

Rootmars spat out several acid balls. It was kind of gross.

Quickly, Rosalina shielded herself using a force field. There was no point in letting herself get melted.

Rootmars noted that usually his opponents didn’t have a good defense. In fact, they seemed to die in one hit.

They were like glass. However, the princess seemed to be resilient.

Rosalina noted that it was plausible that the brain on Rootmars’ head was his weak point.

So, she decided to aim there.

However, Rootmars was smart and covered his brain.

Perhaps she should aim for his open mouth instead.

She decided to do so.

Instinctively, Rootmars covered his mouth.

However, he released an electric shockwave from his wave.

Rosalina was knocked offbalance.

”Whoa!” shouted Rosalina.

Rootmars then followed by using telekinesis, lifting entire buildings.

However, Rosalina used Star Spin to send a building right back at him.

Rootmars was knocked down.

She then Star Spinned into him again.

Rootmars was knocked backwards.

However, he launched several energy balls at Rosalina.

She was forced to take cover.

Rootmars then called for reinforcements.

UFOs started shooting at her.

However, the Lumas decided to reinforce their honorary mother.

They managed to hijack some of the Martian ships.

Rosalina then called down a meteorite.

Rootmars gasped in shock.

However, it was too late for him to do anything.

The meteorite hit the Martian Leader, and he knew no more.

The Lumas celebrated in victory.

Likewise, the Martians decided to retreat. It looked as if they were going to have to find a new leader.

They went back inside their mothership and flew off.

Perhaps they should try invading Jupiter.

Then again, the residents of that planet were described as...gassy.

Rosie sighed in relief. It seemed that the planet was safe.

Well, now it was time to head back to the Observatory.

Perhaps there were other planets that were in need of assistance.
