This is the cover art that I made for the book named The Coming of Dragons: The Darkest Age Volume 1 by A.J. Lake

I made this one for the German Edition by Ravensburger. The Editor gave me a complete freedom and I paid her back by giving it all my love:) I hope you like it as well.

I made another one for the volume two and I`ll send it soon.

That cover is absolutely amazing! Both the lightning bolts and the dragon look fantastic. R.I.P to the Vikings though.

Wow! When I draw, I tend to cartoon to the point that I can't control it! Such skill is RARE. :happybounce:

How much would you charge for a similar type of drawing with a pirate ship and dragon, with the edges feathered out, with a full copyright release?

"HALT! Turn back and return home, for your own safety!! There are things ahead no mortal should be forced to endure, mariners; 'tis not out of arrogance or spite I block your course, it is out of DECENCY. Leave now, while you still have hope!"

"So, dragon, you spoke of unspeakable horrors beyond the horizon to my ancestor five hundred years ago, yes? Tell us more about them..."

--- A Descendant of the mariners, an admiral leading a massive modern human armada. Thanks to the application of superior firepower, the unspeakable horrors were subsequently destroyed, opening their lands for colonization and exploitation.

"I suppose that old saying about bigger fish isn't always true. Sometimes the smallest ones can hide the biggest fangs...."

--- The thoroughly-impressed Dragon, upon learning of the humans' success.
