It's a meaningful life by Kenny-boy It's a meaningful life by Kenny-boy
Okay heres the Dealio! I recently got around to watching Big idea's new Veggie tales episode: It's a Meaningfull life. I felt like I should give a review for this episode. so grab your Popcorn turn down the Lights and get ready for Veggie tales it's a meaning full life.

Review: (beware of Spoilers)

1stly let me tell you for those of you who don't know the whole episode is a parody of "It's a Wonderful life" [link]

Now let's begin with the story. Larry plays a Character Called Stewart Green. He is a football player, who misses his big break due toa friends Bumble. Ironically his friend Played by Mr. Lunt is named Morty Bubmble. Morty leaves town after making a big catch and leading his team to victory. This leaves Stuart in the hospital with a foot ball injury doomed never to play again.

Stewart then takes on the family factory from his father (played by Mr.Nezzer). We see the rest of Stewart's family his wife (played by Petunia) His tow biological sons Art and Barney. And the new little star of the episode Stewarts Adopted Daughter Emma. My only problem with the family is that his two biological sons donít get a lot of love in this episode. I understand they arenít really important to the story but itís really weird.

The first laugh I really had in this film was a commercial that Morty does for a product called Munchy Dreams! So yeah by this point of the story Morty is a big Celebrity and people love him. Another issue with this story is that they donít do a very good job at showing how much of a big deal it is that Morty wants to rule the town. By taking the toy factory which is the back bone of the townís economy and firing all the workers.
So Stewart basically realizes that the factory is in danger and trys to speed up production which goes terribly wrong. Putting the factory in even more danger of being brought by Morty.

So the silly song was well written although Larry doesnít sing. Junior basically is Bothering his moom to bring him various stuffed animals. Itís funny and actually the best one Iíve heard since...The sippycup one form Minnesota cuke 2. [link]
So basically things suck for Stewart and he goes to complain in the football field. So then he meets a strange conductor named Gabe (which may be a reference to the angel Gabriel). Who take Stewart to 3 stops. 1 to see what happens if he caught the ball. And Stewart becomes a really big jerk, he also seems to be dressed like Snidely whiplash too.
2nd Stop is to see what happened to the town. Where we see Petunia is being picked on by the local punks. This to me was rather surprising. I really didnít think these little veggie kids would pick on a grown woman. You also see that his adopted Daughter is still in the Orphanage all alone. It is a well done scene.
3rd stop is basically Gabe Singing and telling Stewart he finally has a choice to make...... Find out what this choice is by watching the Episode.
The lesson is well brought out though. I feel kids might get confused a couple times in some of the issues but the main lesson that God has a plan for all of us really hit home. I donít know if Iím a fan though of Qwerty talking now or video messages in the episodes but Iíll stay optimistic.
Note: I find the Animation has been going down in Veggietales ever since they stopped doing their Animation in Canada. Pay attention in this episode and although the animation isnít as bad as the animation in Sweet Pea Beauty, the way some of the characters hop is really unnatural and they seem to be floating or sliding in alot of scenes. Also there is a part during the foot ball game where the whole Audience is the same guy just copied and Pasted in the back ground.

Who else but me noticed their first ever reference to Hell?
It is when they first get on the train and Gabe says,"Be careful what you wish for, Stewart. These tracks can take you many places, but that doesn't mean they're all places we should go."
At that moment they show the fiery embers in the train furnace.
DUHN DUHN DUHHHN!!!! If you didn't see it the first time go back and look. It is well hidden so that innocent minds won't freak out, so look carefully =)

So glad I'm not the only one who thought the animation in Sweet Pea Beauty was horrible! That episode looked like they had just quit halfway through the animation and released the DVD unfinished.

Adopting a child has been a big part of the church that I've been going to. Two couples have been each adopting two girls, and they're all angels.

I think its nice! They were paying attention to Emma because they are increasing public awarness of orphans. That and she has problems like Stewert does.

I hope to draw something about the film soon!

Fair enough but I still kinda feel the to other kis were really over looked and should no been. But You're defiitly right the whole orphan thing was a major issue in the story. And the Father child thing was also a strong motif in the story.

It was cute. If Larry was my father, I'll be in love and have fun with him like in my story, "A Veggie Book" the parody of Walt Disney The Jungle Book. :D I love being a cucumber! :D
