This reminds me of the two turtles I had when I was little.
I had a big one which was a girl, and a tiny boy. they were about the same size as the paintings when I last saw them ( its been about 10 years now)

How do you call this particular "art" can i say? Its just acrylics and what else?

Not sure what it's called but he's painting on resin, multiple layers of resin, and then taking a photo of it. Sometimes he uses a pebble, like with the octopus, to help give that 3D effect.
It's an amazing effect don't you think? :D (Big Grin)
