Angel Falls PoI: Dark Siren's Grotto
On the corner of Duffy Street and Gammill Avenue, in the Riverside Neighborhood of Angel Falls, there is an old, retired three-bay fire station. The building was constructed in the 1920's but recently the Angel Falls Fire Department moved to a larger, state of the art modern facility, so the old building was put on the market.
The Dark Siren purchased the building to use as a base of operations. Inside the garage area she built a free-standing "room-within-a-room" recording studio with an isolated control room and a vocal booth. The main studio area can accommodate a drum set and five musicians with ease. Sound insulation is excellent and a studio quality AC system keeps things quietly comfortable. Autotune is absolutely unavailable.
The rest of the garage bay is set up for sparing matches, but can still accommodate two automobiles. The rest of the station is mostly standard, with four guest rooms, storage area, main office, rec room, radio room, exercise room, kitchen, bath, laundry, dining area, and infirmary. There are also co-ed bathrooms as well as one unisex bathroom near the office. The men's shower never seems to have hot water.
The second floor has been converted into a master bedroom. Most of the details are classified, but one confirmed detail is that there are framed posters of the Dark Siren's role models, of both the metahuman and musical variety.
With its excellent sound insulation, the DSG studio is a great place for musically inclined OC's to practice without disturbing neighbors. Martial arts inclined OC's can hold sparing practice as well, although no gambling is allowed. Also, sorry but no super-strength HTH fighting.
