Imagine you're playing a video game.
Imagine you're playing a video game. The controls aren't explained very well, and anybody who's ever tried to explain it to you can only do so from hearsay, based on whatever input they'd gathered from the people who told them how to play.
At first, it seems straightforward enough. You know how to move around, you figure out how to keep your energy bar filled, and the graphics are pretty nice. Sounds great too. But you spend a few million in-game years doing pretty much nothing but exploring around, and then you start to ask yourself things like, "Am I doing it right? What am I supposed to be doing? What's my score?"
So you poke around the controls. What was it so-and-so said to do? No, that didn't work... or, did it? How do I know it worked? Maybe, let's try something else... no, that didn't do anything.
And then, it happens. You're not sure what key you pressed, or combination of keys, or if it happened because you helped that weird guy across the lake find his pet frog, but it doesn

Krythe - Prologue 0.2
"Too Much Information"
“Rotate two-hundred and four degrees clockwise,” the observer instructed.  “Try and make it take… let’s say, three-point-four seconds to complete.”
“You just made those numbers up,” Dominic grumbled.  “Why so specific?”
“Don’t think about the numbers.  Just… think about what you need to do, and do it.”
Dominic laughed dryly.  “Sounds like what I’ve asked you to do.  Is this an experiment, or are you plotting a coup?”
“I-- uhh… N-no!  Of course, no-- not at all, sir.  I assure you, this is part of the experiment.”
Normally, Dominic would think nothing of putting someone off-balance with his authority.  That was part of the game he played as Chief of the nation of Cerol, after all.  The researchers had been slow to deliver as well, so he had no qualms over giving them a hard time.

Ms. Gabbi
Ms. Gabbi, Juni's history teacher and a witch who helps Juni master her magic as it manifests.

I'll write up more of a bio for her when I ink and color this.  I wasn't going to upload sketches, but I'm just SO HAPPY with how this turned out!  This is better than I thought I could do.

You've found the character screen. You have unspent skill points. The number of skill points available to you is so large it rolls off the screen and you never see the end of it.

What do you do first?
Phoenix Incarnate - Day 2
Chapter divider for Phoenix Incarnate

I'm considering making a second account just for the old comic.  I don't think I want it mixed in with my current gallery focus, but there are still quite a few parts to it I'm still happy with.
